Tajweed Course for Women Begins in Lebanon

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A specialized course on rules of Tajweed has organized for women in Lebanon.

Quranic course

 

The al-Mabarrat charity society is holding the Quranic course both online and in person.

It is titled ‘Wa Ratil al-Quran Tarteela’ (recite the Quran in a slow, (pleasant tone and) style) and is held at two levels.

The al-Hassanayn Mosque in the suburb of the capital Beirut hosts the in-person classes.

Those taking the course online attend the classes via Zoom.

In the context of the recitation of the Quran, Tajweed is a set of rules for the correct pronunciation of the letters with all their qualities and applying the various traditional methods of recitation.

Founded by Shia source of emulation Ayatollah Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah (1935-2010), the al-Mabarrat charity society is active in charity work as well as Quranic, religious and cultural fields.
